OIT Planned Service Outage, December 28, 2003

An outage to the IBM Storage Area Network (SAN) and the IBM SP2 Servers has been scheduled over the upcoming university holidays for preventive maintenance.

The services listed below will be unavailable during the outage.

1. WAM (Dial-up authentication will not be affected.)
2. The Academic Cluster
3. TSM Backups
4. Mainframe Applications
5. Libraries Streaming media server
6. Data Warehouse

The date of the outage will be Sunday, December 28th between noon and 6 p.m.
