Incoming resident students will be moving into their residence halls beginning Thursday, August 24.
Departments of Transportation Services, Resident Life and Residential Facilities have developed a plan that utilizes a number of metered spaces, student spaces, and faculty/staff spaces as designated move-in spaces.
Move-In/Move-Out signs will indicate the spaces in affected lots that are required for use as unloading areas.
During this period, spaces in lots N1, N2, N3, N4, N7, N8, S7, MM and N* will be used as temporary unloading zones for the students.
Faculty and staff in some lots may be required to park their vehicles in overflow areas, 1, 2, Z, and B (MM permit holders may park in Q or B) and/or other overflow areas on (Wednesday) August 24th, (Thursday) August 25th, (Friday) August 26th, (Saturday) August 27th, (Sunday) August 28th, and (Monday) August 29th.
Permit holders may receive a parking ticket if found parked in a designated move-in/move-out space.
During the fall move-in dates, Campus Police will be providing special parking instructions and traffic control to assist with the move-in process.
