TAI CHI
"Tai Chi" is mainly an internal art that focuses on the breathing and balancing aspect of traditional martial arts. Personally led by experienced practitioner Dr. Phoenix Liu, this session will focus on the basics of a variety of styles (Wu, Chen) with emphasis on the most popular and widespread Yang style Taiji.

FRENCH OPERA: Werther
Massenet’s celebrated opera, based on Goethe’s bestselling The Sorrows of Young Werther, has captivated audiences since its debut in 1892. When the sensitive poet Werther escorts Charlotte to a ball, he becomes immediately infatuated. But Charlotte is engaged to another man, and Werther’s pursuit is denied again and again, sapping his will to live. Featuring second year students of the Maryland Opera Studio, accompanied by piano.
