UM Celebrates Release of Jim Henson Commemorative Stamp Set

Please join President Mote at a special ceremony to celebrate the release of a new Jim Henson—the man behind the Muppets—commemorative stamp sheet by the United States Postal Service.

The ceremony will take place at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 30th, outside the Stamp Student Union at the Jim Henson-Kermit statue.

Following the presentation, the Postal Service will have the commemorative stamp set available for sale with a special postmark just for the Maryland community.
