Student Incidence of H1N1 Virus on Campus
A student employed by the University’s Stamp Center was recently confirmed to have an incidence of the H1N1 virus (swine flu). The student was diagnosed and treated by a private physician yesterday. Any possibility of contracting the virus has passed since the student is not at work and is home recovering.
This is the second confirmed case of H1N1 flu on campus; the other case has been treated and the staff member is fully recovered.
Steps have been taken to disinfect the Stamp Center using a cleaning product that has proven to be very effective against the H1N1 virus.
