Deadline Extended for Design Proposals

We have received so many expressions of interest from artists who are just learning about our Fear the Turtle Sculpture Project that we feel compelled to allow some additional time for proposal submission.

The deadline has been extended to Oct. 17. Multiple designs may be submitted, but all materials must be received by close of business Oct. 17.

University of Maryland students submitting proposals should be aware that studio work space will be made available on campus if your design is selected.
