Fireworks Display Postponed, July 4, 2004

The College Park fireworks display scheduled for yesterday evening at the University of Maryland was postponed until today due to Sunday's inclement weather. All activities, including the pre-fireworks concert by the Darryl Davis Band, are rescheduled for today, July 5, weather permitting. Concessions will open at 5:30 p.m., the concert begins at 7 p.m. with fireworks starting about 9:15 p.m. If the weather is questionable, residents may call 301-405-3555.
