Annual Fourth of July Celebration
The University of Maryland and the The City of College Park are sponsoring a free Annual Fourth of July Celebration that includes a concert and a 30 minute fireworks display.
The concert, featuring the Daryl Davis Band, playing a mixture of Blues, Rockabilly, Boogie Woogie, Swing and Doo-Wop music, begins at 7:00 p.m.
The 30-minute fireworks display begins at dark.
The refreshment stand will open at 5:00 p.m., selling hot dogs, hamburgers, french fries, funnel cakes, ice cream, sno-cones and sodas.
Grass seating is limited, so bring your lawn chairs and blankets. Coolers are allowed, but glass containers are discouraged.
The event is held in Lot 1 on the University of Maryland campus, adjacent to Campus Drive, off Adelphi Road.

In case of rain, the event will be postponed to Tuesday, July 5.
