At the heart of maintaining vocational wellness is finding work that is aligned with your personal values. Write down the things you value most in a job (e.g. creativity, financial success, flexibility, making a difference, etc.). Then, ask yourself if your job, or your area of study, supports those values. If not, it may be time to look for a better fit. As Confucius once said, if you choose a job you love, you will never work a day in your life.
