Are you interested in Facebook and 25 dollars?

The project on Facebook photos and body image (Dr. Ronald Yaros, Philip Merrill College of Journalism) is conducting 15-minute online survey, which will award $25 cash to five randomly selected participants who complete this online survey. To be eligible, you must be at least 18 years old and a female college student. If you click the link below and provide your email address, you will receive an email with a link to the survey. After you receive the emailed link, you can complete the survey online at a time of your convenience!

At the heart of maintaining vocational wellness is finding work that is aligned with your personal values. Write down the things you value most in a job (e.g. creativity, financial success, flexibility, making a difference, etc.). Then, ask yourself if your job, or your area of study, supports those values. If not, it may be time to look for a better fit. As Confucius once said, if you choose a job you love, you will never work a day in your life.

The Center for American Politics and Citizenship (CAPC) and the Department of Government and Politics offer three exciting internship programs to help University of Maryland undergraduates gain real-world experience in government coupled with classroom training: the Maryland Internship Program (MIP), Capitol Hill Internship Program (CHIP), and Public Policy Internship Program (PPIP). Participants will have the opportunity to intern in federal, state and local government offices and agencies for a semester, earning course credit and valuable experience.
