LC 503A Energy Yoga

Increase your strength and flexibility while achieving deep relaxation through a variety of stretches and Hatha yoga poses. This is a high energy invigorating class that promotes a sense of well being. The class begins with standing poses that stimulate the cardio-vascular system and progresses into deep relaxing floor poses. Wear loose comfortable clothing, bring a yoga mat, and a bottle of water.

AC 400A Introduction to Drawing

Designed for students of all levels, this class will emphasize observation of 3D objects (still life, natural objects, interior space & human figure) and the process of their translation to two dimensional surfaces. A variety of techniques and media will be explored. Fundamental elements: line, shape, value, space and composition will be examined. A supply list will be provided at the first class.

LC 531 Guitar 1+2

Learn the foundations of blues, jazz, rock, folk and bluegrass guitar to take your playing to the next level. Students will work on chord progressions, scales, open tunings, and soloing techniques. Basic understanding of open chords is a plus to get started with the class. Sheet music and sight reading are NOT required for this class. Students need to bring their own guitar, preferably an acoustic.
