2. Joseph M. Mitchell Memorial Scholarship Award

The Joseph M. Mitchell Memorial Scholarship Award provides one-time awards of up to $1,000 to undergraduate or graduate students whose ability to succeed at our institution may be challenged by some personal or family circumstance. Scholarships will be awarded each fall and each spring semester to one or more deserving students. Applications and nominations for Spring 2015 award are being accepted through January 4, 2015.

3. Graduate Students: Apply for the GRID Coordinator Position

The Graduate Student Government is seeking to hire a graduate student part-time to serve as the primary support person and coordinator for Graduate Research Interaction Day (GRID), the all-campus graduate student conference hosted by the GSG annually. This event, to be held on April 8, 2014, requires coordination of the submission of student abstracts, the selection and coordination of judges, and the logistics to ensure the event runs smoothly the day of. It is anticipated the GRID Coordinator will work for 90 hours at $16/hour (totaling $1440).
