How to Get and Keep Good Credit will provide you with a starting foundation on Credit. In this course you will learn what a credit score entails. You will learn how to maximize your lending abilities with a positive credit score. You will learn what comprises a credit score, how to request a copy of your credit score, how your score affects you, and how to improve your score. The course explains how lenders decide if you are credit-worthy and what information is considered in providing a credit score.

4. University of Maryland First-Year Student Leadership Program

Are you the parent or sibling of a first-year student? Share with them the Turtle Camp First Year Student Leadership Program, taking place August 24-August 27. This exciting leadership experience is designed for freshmen and transfer students and focuses on jump starting students' leadership experiences at UMD while building relationships and having fun. There are multiple dynamic tracks to choose from including DC exploration, community service and engagement, and various adventure activities including backpacking, kayaking, biking and canoeing. 5. Building Thermography Practitioners Needed for Interview Study

Do you perform energy audits of buildings? Do you use a thermal camera for your inspections? We need your help!

We are exploring current methods and practices for performing energy audits of buildings and, specifically, the role of thermography in these audits. We are looking for experienced building thermographers, facilities managers, and building inspectors to participate in a short interview about their experiences as energy auditors.

Interview participants will be reimbursed $20 for their time. Interview sessions can be conducted in-person at a specific location of your choice in the DC metro area or via Skype, Google Hangout, or another video chatting service.
