Love to sing? Love medieval music? Looking for a way to expand your grad experience? The Maryland Palestrina Choir is holding auditions for new singers Sunday evenings in September starting THIS Sunday, September 6th! Auditions consist of singing a prepared piece with the group and a bit of sight-reading. Rehearsals Sunday evenings from 5 - 7 PM. We usually perform 2 - 4 events a semester and we always have a great time!

2. Opportunity to Volunteer with Children with Autism with the University of Maryland Autism Research Consortium (UMARC)

UMARC holds a monthly lecture series for the community offering free childcare by trained volunteers. We need your help! 10. MALE PARTICIPANTS needed for language study ($15)

When: Monday, August 31, 2015 2:00 PM - Thursday, September 10, 2015 6:00 PM

You are invited to participate in a language study by a UMD investigator in the Second Language Acquisition Program. The study investigates the effects of tasks on language learning.

Participation in the study will involve one session with the researcher that will last approximately one hour.

In order to participate, you must:
- Be between the ages 18-45
- Be a native speaker of the American English dialect
- Know how to drive
- Not be colorblind
- Be male participant
