Ten months in the making, the new Campus Sustainability website (www.sustainability.umd.edu)intends to connect UM students, faculty, staff, and the greater community to information about sustainability news, events, projects, and activities campus-wide. Sustainability initiatives have boomed over the past few years and the old website (created in 2007) was not suited to accommodate such growth.

Content on the site is organized under four categories -- Campus, Culture, Curriculum, and Community Outreach -- which represent a comprehensive approach to creating "a national model of a Green University" (University Strategic Plan, 2008, p.36). Please, explore the new site and share it with friends and colleagues. If you have suggestions for additional resources you would like to see on the site, please email sustainability@umd.edu.
