On Tuesday, Sept. 8, the University of Maryland will launch a new university calendar that will streamline and replace the FYI and Free Stuff @ UMD calendars. Beginning Sept. 8, you will be able to submit your events to the new campus calendar for review and approval, much like the current process for FYI and Free Stuff @ UMD. On Sept. 8, if you visit this website, you will automatically be redirected to the new calendar. In addition, a new weekly email called UMD This Week will launch on Sept. 8, replacing the daily FYI email. UMD This Week will be delivered at the beginning of every week and will highlight top upcoming events. The email will include details on how to access the new calendar and how to submit events for approval. Questions? Email

You will create and edit basic Microsoft Office Excel 2013 worksheets and workbooks. Who should attend: This course is designed for students who desire to gain the necessary skills to create, edit, format, and print basic Microsoft Office Excel 2013 worksheets. Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to: Create a basic worksheet by using Microsoft Office Excel 2013. Perform calculations in an Excel worksheet. Modify an Excel worksheet. Format a worksheet. Print the content of an Excel workbook. Manage an Excel workbook.

Learning fee -- $135 per person

Prerequisites: Familiarity with using computers (mouse, finding programs on the computer, opening and saving files is required.) Familiarity with Word is highly recommended.
