On Tuesday, Sept. 8, the University of Maryland will launch a new university calendar that will streamline and replace the FYI and Free Stuff @ UMD calendars. Beginning Sept. 8, you will be able to submit your events to the new campus calendar for review and approval, much like the current process for FYI and Free Stuff @ UMD. On Sept. 8, if you visit this website, you will automatically be redirected to the new calendar. In addition, a new weekly email called UMD This Week will launch on Sept. 8, replacing the daily FYI email. UMD This Week will be delivered at the beginning of every week and will highlight top upcoming events. The University Health Center is offering affordable Health Screenings to faculty, staff, and graduate students this summer!

NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY!

For only $15*, you can obtain a blood panel which includes the following:

* Cholesterol test**
* Blood Glucose test

For Best Results, Do Not Eat 12 hours before blood draw. Lab results will be mailed within two weeks.

Health Screening Days
The screening is offered between 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Thursday, August 21

* The Health Center will accept cash, check, Terrapin Express, or Credit Cards. Payment will be accepted at the Appointment Check-In Desk.
** An overnight fast will be required for accurate cholesterol levels.
