On Tuesday, Sept. 8, the University of Maryland will launch a new university calendar that will streamline and replace the FYI and Free Stuff @ UMD calendars. Beginning Sept. 8, you will be able to submit your events to the new campus calendar for review and approval, much like the current process for FYI and Free Stuff @ UMD. On Sept. 8, if you visit this website, you will automatically be redirected to the new calendar. In addition, a new weekly email called UMD This Week will launch on Sept. 8, replacing the daily FYI email. UMD This Week will be delivered at the beginning of every week and will highlight top upcoming events. We are open and serving the campus in the Stamp, four Cafes on Campus and three Convenience Shops.
The Stamp: The Coffee Bar, Chick fil-A, Sbarro, McDonalds, Moby Dick, Panda Express, and SaladWorks.
Cafes on Campus: Applause in the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center, Footnotes in McKeldin Library, Rudy's in Van Munching, and Sneakers in the Eppley Recreation Center.
Convenience Shops: 24Shop in the Denton Community, South Commons Shop in the South Campus Dining Building, and The Union Shop in the Stamp.
