Child Participants Needed: Language Learning on Mobile Devices

Where: In home, by appointment
Event Type(s): Other

Researchers at UMD are evaluating a mobile application that may help children with learning foreign languages by incorporating movement into language-learning activities.

Your child, and his or her friend, would play a language learning game on an iPod Touch and perform common tasks, such as swiping or tapping on buttons, while moving the device in different ways. To participate, children must be between 8 and 9 years old.

The study consists of a single, 1-hour, in-home session scheduled at a convenient time for you.
