Title of Seminar: Biotechnology applications in fruit trees: picking the ripe plum

Description: Over the past decade, our group has put significant resources into the development of GM technologies for plum trees both for US and International markets. Our group's experiences in navigating through the US and international regulatory processes, obtaining funding, meeting industry needs, as well as the impacts of modern genomic technologies on regulatory science will be presented.

Dr. Dardick is a Research Scientist with the USDA ARS managing research programs on virus-host interactions and fruit tree growth architecture.
