It's National Collegiate Alcohol Awareness Week at UMD!

Where: Health Center
Event Type(s): Health

National Collegiate Alcohol Awareness Week (NCAAW) encourages students to make choices to stay safe in social situations where alcohol may be present. NCAAW keeps alcohol abuse prevention at the forefront and assists students in finding support for alcohol-related issues. Alcohol abuse prevention is not a one-week activity; promoting responsible alcohol consumption is a year round effort.

Students are encouraged to attend this week's events so they can be empowered to:

* make safe choices,
* take care of friends,
* keep safe by not drinking to excess,
* secure a safe ride,
* avoid driving after drinking, and to
* never ride with a driver who has been drinking.
