The Department of Classics is sponsoring a lecture on Monday, October 14, 4-5 PM, in Francis Scott Key Hall Room 0106. Dr. Joseph L. Rife of Vanderbilt University, Director the American Excavations at Kenchreai in southern Greece, will be speaking about the recent archaeological investigations that have been carried out at the eastern port of ancient Corinth. The lecture is co-sponsored by the Washington DC Society of the AIA in celebration of International Archaeology Day, (October 19).
