Writers Here & Now Series Presents: Tania James and Tim Seibles

The Writers Here & Now series brings writers of national and international prominence to the University of Maryland, and this time we'll be welcoming visiting writers Tania James and Tim Seibles. Join us for a reception at 6:15pm in the Jiménez-Porter Writers' House, Dorchester Hall. Following the reception there will be readings by Tania James and Tim Seibles at 7:00 pm in Ulrich Recital Hall, Tawes.

Tim Seibles' most recent book is Fast Animal, a 2012 National Book Award Finalist. He is the author of several books of poems including Hurdy-Gurdy, Hammerlock, Buffalo Head Solos, and he is a former National Endowment for the Arts fellow.

Tania James is the author of the short story collection "Aerogrammes" and the novel "Atlas of Unknowns." Tania is the recipient of fellowships from the Ragdale Foundation and the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities. From 2011-2012, she was a Fulbright fellow to India living in New Delhi.
