We invite you to participate in an MRI study at the Maryland Neuroimaging Center (MNC)!

The primary goal of this research is to investigate the brain structures involved in language processing. We use functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), a non-invasive technique, to make images of the brain, which allow us to see how it functions during language tasks.

For this study you will read short phrases and perform a memory task during the MRI scan. Participation involves one two-hour session at the MNC. You will receive $25 per hour for your participation, or $50 for a 2-hour session.

To participate in this study, you must:

. Be 18- to 30-years old
. Speak only English
. Be right-handed

Additional MRI safety restrictions apply.

If you are interested, please ambonnet@umd.edu for more information.

We look forward to hearing from you!
