On Tuesday, Sept. 8, the University of Maryland will launch a new university calendar that will streamline and replace the FYI and Free Stuff @ UMD calendars. Beginning Sept. 8, you will be able to submit your events to the new campus calendar for review and approval, much like the current process for FYI and Free Stuff @ UMD. On Sept. 8, if you visit this website, you will automatically be redirected to the new calendar. In addition, a new weekly email called UMD This Week will launch on Sept. 8, replacing the daily FYI email. UMD This Week will be delivered at the beginning of every week and will highlight top upcoming events. The email will include details on how to access the new calendar and how to submit events for approval. Questions? Email UMDevents@umd.edu.


NATIVE SPEAKERS OF RUSSIAN NEEDED FOR STUDY

You will complete a questionnaire and take several computerized tests looking at how you use your native language. The entire study takes about 2 hours. For full participation you will earn $40.
Requirements:
- born in Russia or former USSR;
- speak Russian from birth with both parents;
- have finished high school in Russia/former USSR;
- have not been in the US for more than 3 years;
- must be able to read in English;
- between 18-35 years of age.
