Join us as the the School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation presents the MAPP: Kibel Gallery Lecture + Exhibition Opening on Monday, September 16, 2013 at 6:00 pm in the Architecture Building Auditorium and Kibel Gallery.

Jurgen Bruns-Berentelg, Chief Executive Officer, HafenCity Hamburg GmbH and Uli Hellweg, Managing Director, IBA Hamburg GmbH will present "Building the City Anew-Hamburg, Germany: Vibrant, Livable, Sustainable; a Journey into the City of Tomorrow." Hamburg is the scene of two of Europe's major urban development projects: HafenCity and International Building Exhibition (IBA). This project presents examples of planning, strategies and projects within the city of Hamburg as a way to initiate an international dialogue about solutions for the future.

Gallery Hours: Monday-Thursday, 9am-9pm, Friday, 9am-6pm; weekends by appointment. Admission free.
