On Tuesday, Sept. 8, the University of Maryland will launch a new university calendar that will streamline and replace the FYI and Free Stuff @ UMD calendars. Beginning Sept. 8, you will be able to submit your events to the new campus calendar for review and approval, much like the current process for FYI and Free Stuff @ UMD. On Sept. 8, if you visit this website, you will automatically be redirected to the new calendar. In addition, a new weekly email called UMD This Week will launch on Sept. 8, replacing the daily FYI email. UMD This Week will be delivered at the beginning of every week and will highlight top upcoming events. The email will include details on how to access the new calendar and how to submit events for approval. Questions? Email UMDevents@umd.edu.

Cybersecurity and Cybersafety for Girls is an interactive learning and mentoring experience for middle school girls who are interested in technology, computers, and cybersecurity! Undergraduate students will lead workshops in various computer and technology related topics. This event will provide girls the opportunity to learn everything they need to know to safely use the internet and technology with confidence!
