Wellness Tip of the Week: Be smart about the food you buy

Many food products you find in the supermarket will use health claims on their packaging, but that doesn't always mean the food inside is actually healthy. Instead of accepting health claims at face value, read the nutrition information carefully to see what is in the product you're about to buy. Pay attention to the serving size, and look for the amount of things like sodium, sugar, cholesterol, and saturated fats. Be an informed food consumer for better health
