On Tuesday, Sept. 8, the University of Maryland will launch a new university calendar that will streamline and replace the FYI and Free Stuff @ UMD calendars. Beginning Sept. 8, you will be able to submit your events to the new campus calendar for review and approval, much like the current process for FYI and Free Stuff @ UMD. On Sept. 8, if you visit this website, you will automatically be redirected to the new calendar. In addition, a new weekly email called UMD This Week will launch on Sept. 8, replacing the daily FYI email. UMD This Week will be delivered at the beginning of every week and will highlight top upcoming events. What are the key converging global crises that threaten human security and the Earth's planetary systems that must be solved in the next 30 years? Please join us for a panel discussion led by students to understand the dynamics shaping these global crises and the role that the United Nations and civil society organizations can play to solve the most urgent challenges of the 21st century!
