Stress is a normal part of life, but you don't have to become overwhelmed by it. With the end of the semester looming, it's important to be prepared with some techniques to keep calm and carry on. The simplest way to reduce stress is to close your eyes, clear your head, and focus on your breathing. Don't worry if thoughts pop up involuntarily- that's normal- but try not to dwell on them when they come. Just keep your attention focused on your breath as it comes in and goes out. Do this during stressful moments for a few minutes, and if it feels good, you can increase your practice.
