The Department of Plant Science and Landscape Architecture (PSLA) Lecture Series Presents a Lecture by Dr. Marshall Porterfield, Division Director of NASA's Space Life and Physical Sciences Research and Applications.
Dr. Porterfield is based at NASA headquarters in Washington, DC. He oversees and manages Fundamental Space Biology, Physical Sciences, and all Human Research within NASA while providing oversight to the International Space Station National Lab. He is a lead inter-agency contact between NASA and the National Institutes of Health, National Science Foundation, and the US Department of Agriculture.
Dr. Porterfield holds academic appointments at Purdue University and is a Purdue University Faculty Scholar.
