On Tuesday, Sept. 8, the University of Maryland will launch a new university calendar that will streamline and replace the FYI and Free Stuff @ UMD calendars. Beginning Sept. 8, you will be able to submit your events to the new campus calendar for review and approval, much like the current process for FYI and Free Stuff @ UMD. On Sept. 8, if you visit this website, you will automatically be redirected to the new calendar. In addition, a new weekly email called UMD This Week will launch on Sept. 8, replacing the daily FYI email. UMD This Week will be delivered at the beginning of every week and will highlight top upcoming events. The Philosophy and Linguistics graduate student reading group invites you to join us at an interdisciplinary workshop on belief/desire psychology and belief/desire language. The goal of this workshop is to allow UMD researchers of all levels to share their research on this important topic with colleagues from other departments on campus. The workshop features student poster presentations and faculty talks. Invited faculty presenters include Dr. Jonathan Beier (Psychology), Dr. Valentine Hacquard (Linguistics), Dr. Aidan Lyon (Philosophy) and Dr. Eric Pacuit (Philosophy).
