Luncheon Panel Discussion -
V.S. Subrahmanian will discuss results of the recent book Computational Analysis of Terrorist Groups: Lashkar-e-Taiba. The talk will focus on "big data analytics" study of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) conducted entirely with open source information. Through this approach, the research automatically discovered behavioral models that predict upticks/downticks of LeT attacks up to three months in advance.

Panelists include: V.S. Subrahmanian, Professor, Department of Computer Science, Director of the Center for Digital International Government (CDIG) and Co-Director of the Laboratory for Computational Cultural Dynamics (LCCD), University of Maryland.
