Please join us for the "Academic Achievement: It's Not So Black and White" panel discussion on Thursday, April 18th, located in the Charles Carol Room in the Stamp Student Union from 12-2:00 pm.

Four scholars will examine the questions of why gaps in academic achievement continue to persist among racial and ethnic groups and what may help to eliminate these gaps.

UMD's own illustrious Dr. Patricia Hill Collins will moderate this discussion on academic achievement.

Dr. Michelle Espino of UMD's School of Education
Dr. Odis Johnson of UMD's African American Studies Department
