"What is a Meaningful Use of an Electronic Health Record?" An electronic health record (EHR) allows health care providers to record patient information electronically instead of using paper records. The Federal Government is implementing policies to increase the adoption of EHRs. What are the implications of these Federal requirements? Will EHR's decrease the cost of providing care? Will health records be secure? Hear from social scientists, health and legal experts on this very important topic. Free and open to the public. Presented by the Universities at Shady Grove and Rockville Institute as part of the CSI Series
