On Tuesday, Sept. 8, the University of Maryland will launch a new university calendar that will streamline and replace the FYI and Free Stuff @ UMD calendars. Beginning Sept. 8, you will be able to submit your events to the new campus calendar for review and approval, much like the current process for FYI and Free Stuff @ UMD. On Sept. 8, if you visit this website, you will automatically be redirected to the new calendar. In addition, a new weekly email called UMD This Week will launch on Sept. 8, replacing the daily FYI email. UMD This Week will be delivered at the beginning of every week and will highlight top upcoming events. The Maryland Women's Basketball team is set to host the first and second rounds of the 2013 NCAA tournament at Comcast Center. The first round will be Saturday, March 23. To start the day, your 4th-seeded Terps will play Quinnipiac at 11:15 am with 5th-seeded Michigan State taking on Marist at 1:30 pm.
