Members of the LGBT Staff/Faculty Association gather together informally for lunch on the first Thursday of every month during the spring semester. The next lunch, on Thursday, March 7, will take place conjointly with the Queer Lunch of the LGBT Equity Center to take advantage of a special opportunity: Eli Clare, who will be speaking at 5:15 p.m. that evening in the "Debilitating Queerness" lecture series, will join us all for lunch and informal conversation about his work and the issues with which it is engaged. White, disabled, and genderqueer, Clare is a writer, speaker, activist, and teacher who lives in Vermont and addresses disability, gender, race, class, and sexuality in his work.
So bring your lunch and join us Thursday at 12:30 (note the special time and place!) in the LGBT Equity Center (2218 Marie Mount Hall) for an informal yet engaging and interesting discussion!
