Teen Suicide Prevention Study

Event Type(s): Other

We are looking for teens ages 13-18 who are on Facebook to participate in a short, online study to help us find ways to prevent teen suicide.

Parents, consider having your teen participate in a UMD research study to see how teens can look out for their friends on Facebook and help us work together to prevent teen suicide.

Teens can click here to take our survey!

The survey is online, takes 10-15 minutes, and is anonymous. Teens will be asked if their friends post about suicide, how they feel about it, and what they might do.

For more information visit Teens on the Lookout on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/TeensOnTheLookout)
or send an email to jmberger@umd.edu to request a copy of survey questions. This study has been approved by the UMCP Institutional Review Board (Project 366580-1).
