On Tuesday, Sept. 8, the University of Maryland will launch a new university calendar that will streamline and replace the FYI and Free Stuff @ UMD calendars. Beginning Sept. 8, you will be able to submit your events to the new campus calendar for review and approval, much like the current process for FYI and Free Stuff @ UMD. On Sept. 8, if you visit this website, you will automatically be redirected to the new calendar. In addition, a new weekly email called UMD This Week will launch on Sept. 8, replacing the daily FYI email. UMD This Week will be delivered at the beginning of every week and will highlight top upcoming events. More than 50 students and a dozen deans and professors from all over the world gather every summer in Salzburg to work in international teams and across disciplines. Students build web-based and downloadable lesson modules on how global media cover issues of critical importance, including Terrorism, Climate Change, Pubic Health, Religion, and International Justice & Human Rights.
