SAVE THE DATES Musicians demonstrate and explain the shared roots of diverse traditions from fascinating foreign and familiar cultures ranging from Kazakhstan to the Carolinas, from Brazil to Africa, China and Middle East. Dates: Feb 7, 22, 26. March 4, 13, 28. April 9, 25. Free except for performances Feb 26, Mar 28 and April 26, which require tickets. Live performances. Themes relate music to culture including Jazz, Islam, Women, Salsa, Polka, slavery, migration, languages, history, emotion, rent parties, courtship, how the medium of music illuminates difficult diversity issues.
