Join us for a special sneak preview of the new documentary KIPLIN HALL, BIRTHPLACE OF MARYLAND on Wednesday, January 30th at 6:00pm in the Architecture Auditorium. The film explores the restoration and student work within the manor house known as "the birthplace of Maryland." Admission is free.
For 25 years, students from the University of Maryland have gone to England to assist with the restoration of Kiplin Hall, a 17th century manor house known as the birthplace of Maryland. The program began under the direction of Professor David Fogle, former Associate Dean and Founding Director of the Maryland Study Centre at Kiplin Hall. The Maryland Study Centre at Kiplin Hall, established with contributions from Marylanders, has served a generation of students since 1985.
