Roger Launius, National Air and Space Museum, Washington DC "The Strange Career of the American Spaceplane " The 50-year history of the quest for a spaceplane eventually found fruition with the Space Shuttle and continues as spaceplane dreams of the near future. After Dr. Launius's short presentation, we will enjoy an hour of discussion. Refreshments at 4pm.
