Run for a seat on the University Senate! The Senate is one of the largest and most powerful governing bodies on campus. The Senate directly advises the President on virtually all University policy-related matters. Senators are elected by their constituency and play an integral role in University policy-making and governance by debating and voting on Senate legislation. Faculty, staff, administrators, and students all participate in this shared governance process.
