On Tuesday, Sept. 8, the University of Maryland will launch a new university calendar that will streamline and replace the FYI and Free Stuff @ UMD calendars. Beginning Sept. 8, you will be able to submit your events to the new campus calendar for review and approval, much like the current process for FYI and Free Stuff @ UMD. On Sept. 8, if you visit this website, you will automatically be redirected to the new calendar. In addition, a new weekly email called UMD This Week will launch on Sept. 8, replacing the daily FYI email. UMD This Week will be delivered at the beginning of every week and will highlight top upcoming events. The email will include details on how to access the new calendar and how to submit events for approval. Questions? Email

2013 Walk for Wellness

2013 Walk for Wellness
Teams of 5 and individuals are invited to participate in the 2013 Walk for Wellness. Walk 20 minutes per day, 5 days per week during January 11- March 7. Prizes will be awarded to the individuals and team who log the most minutes walked.

REGISTER January 2 -- 25 or in person at the ERC Member Services Desk.

WALK January 11 - March 7
Log in and out weekdays at walking zones located at Reckord Armory (10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.) Cole Fieldhouse (8:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.) Chesapeake Building (11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.)

WIN prizes awarded March 13
Individual Walk for Wellness winner will receive one Noodles & Company meal monthly for a year AND a pedometer. Team Walk for Wellness winners will receive a Noodles & Company party AND a private group fitness class of their choice.
