AC 404A Introduction to Painting

This class will emphasize acrylic as the primary medium but will encourage experimentation with mixed media. Fundamental techniques such as color theory, plane, value, texture, and depth will be examined and classroom instruction will focus on painting directly from observation. A supply list will be provided at the first class.
