The Graduate School invites master's and doctoral students and postdocs to its Ph.D. Completion Project Workshop: NIH & NSF CAREER DEVELOPMENT GRANTS FOR PRE- AND POSTDOCS this Friday, Nov. 30. The workshop will be held in Ulrich Recital Hall in Tawes Building from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Our facilitator, Dr. Robert Porter, Director of Research Development at the University of Tennessee, will focus on National Science Foundation (NSF) and National Institutes of Health (NIH) grants that support master's and doctoral students and postdoctoral fellows as they transition through critical career stages: from early graduate study to the doctoral dissertation, the initial postdoctoral fellowship, and the independent investigator position.
