On Tuesday, Sept. 8, the University of Maryland will launch a new university calendar that will streamline and replace the FYI and Free Stuff @ UMD calendars. Beginning Sept. 8, you will be able to submit your events to the new campus calendar for review and approval, much like the current process for FYI and Free Stuff @ UMD. On Sept. 8, if you visit this website, you will automatically be redirected to the new calendar. In addition, a new weekly email called UMD This Week will launch on Sept. 8, replacing the daily FYI email. UMD This Week will be delivered at the beginning of every week and will highlight top upcoming events. The email will include details on how to access the new calendar and how to submit events for approval. Questions? Email UMDevents@umd.edu.


SEE and Terpac present: Stand-Up for Peace

Stand up for Peace is a comedy show between a Jewish and Palestinian American. Both comedians perform their own comedy show and then come together for a show and a riveting question and answer session. The mission of this comedy show is to bring Jews, Arabs, Muslims, and people from all backgrounds together to laugh and show a common ground through comedy and laughter.

Tickets will go on sale at the Hoff ticket office for $3 for students.

This event is being cosponsored by JSU, Shazam, JstreetU, Aepi, Aephi, SDT, and FRIEND/JAMM.

Doors open at 7:00 p.m.
