Guangxi Event

The Guangxi Event includes a series of micro-lectures 1. Zhuang painting (Zhuang is an ethnic minority living in Guangxi province of China); 2. Photographing techniques; 3. Back yard bee raising and 4. How to make a violin. These lectures are not necessary related but they will all be offered by folks of Guangxi. The lecture series is followed by a small demonstration of Chinese music featured with a string instrument called Erhu and a wind pipe called Dizi (Chinese flute). Good for UMD students of Guangxi origin and those who are interested in knowing Guangxi.
