The Universities at Shady Grove Committee on Collaboration, Interprofessional and Interdisciplinary Education Strategies (CIPES) presents the 4th Annual Biomedical Sciences Day: It Takes a Village* to Treat Pain (*Physicians, Nurses, Pharmacists, Psychologists, Social Workers, Therapists). Hear from experts on this universal topic: changing pharmaceutical needs, basic research and animal models, development of novel pain therapeutics, the perception and production of pain, and interventional approaches to treating pain. Preceding the panel will be a poster session presenting the research projects and activities of students from Biological Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy and Psychology.
