On Tuesday, Sept. 8, the University of Maryland will launch a new university calendar that will streamline and replace the FYI and Free Stuff @ UMD calendars. Beginning Sept. 8, you will be able to submit your events to the new campus calendar for review and approval, much like the current process for FYI and Free Stuff @ UMD. On Sept. 8, if you visit this website, you will automatically be redirected to the new calendar. In addition, a new weekly email called UMD This Week will launch on Sept. 8, replacing the daily FYI email. UMD This Week will be delivered at the beginning of every week and will highlight top upcoming events. The National Socio-Environmental Synthesis Center (SESYNC) in Annapolis, MD invites participants to attend its weekly Seminar Series and Brown Bag Discussions on Tuesdays at 12:30PM.

The next seminar will be on Tuesday, October 16. Dr. Steve Fiore, Director of the Cognitive Sciences Laboratory at the University of Central Florida, will present on "Team Cognition and Performance."
