Dr. Amala Mahadevan, from the Department of Physical Oceanography, Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, whose interests are in oceanography and climate, biogeochemical cycles in the ocean -the ocean's role in the carbon cycle, phytoplankton and biogeochemical distributions and air-sea gas exchange, will be presenting a seminar at the Department of Atmospheric & Oceanic Science on Physical Underpinnings of Oceanic Phytoplankton Blooms. The seminar will be held in room 3400 Computer and Space Sciences Building at 2:00 pm.
